Honoring History: Darlaston Craft Club's Tribute to D-Day Heroes

darlastoncraftclub

The Darlaston Craft Club has been diligently crafting heartfelt displays to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Their dedication to honoring the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom is evident in every piece they create.

One of the standout pieces, affectionately known as "George" the poppy soldier, has made a poignant appearance at the Darlaston Town Hall. This moving tribute has become a focal point of the celebration, reminding us all of the immense courage and selflessness of our heroes.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating this significant milestone and to take a moment to remember the courageous individuals who shaped our history. Through art and community, we honor their legacy and ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten.
